Sustainability at Jaycee

Working with our Environment in Mind.

At Jaycee we are continually working towards minimising our impact on the environment through our everyday work practices. Our mission is to deliver the best printed material and services to you in a responsible way. 

We have listed some headings below which help us to achieve our goals.

RAW MATERIALS.

Virtually all the paper and card materials that we print on comes from responsibly managed, FSC-certified forests. Trees are harvested responsibly so there is no net loss of forest over time. Forests with irreplaceable values, such as old-growth forests, are identified and maintained. Reversing deforestation and maintaining irreplaceable forests are crucial to fighting climate change. 

In addition, on certain products such as business stationery, we offer the option to print on 100% recycled stocks and we also have an Eco Recycled range of Wedding Stationery.

PACKAGING.

To fulfil our orders we use cardboard boxes and envelopes which are 100% recyclable. Sometimes we have to use plastic to protect goods from water damage but we are striving to use plastic packaging which is either made from recycled materials or is 100% recyclable.

WASTE.

Currently approximately 90% of our paper offcuts and card waste are shredded, recycled and collected. The laminations that we use are biodegradable and not harmful to the environment and we don't use any harmful chemicals in our print presses.
